Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) is recalling certain child seats and travel systems. The child seats and travel systems are missing the USA recall registration card.

Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) is recalling certain child seats and travel systems. The child seats and travel systems are missing the USA recall registration card. As such, these child seats and travel systems fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, “Child Restraint Systems.”
The recall population consists of various car seats (including car seats sold as part of travel systems) intended for sale in Canada but shipped to customers located in the United States. Such products were shipped with recall registration cards that were designed for Canada, and did not comply with the applicable FMVSS standard. Thus the population is not defined by production date. All products with the listed model numbers were intended for sale in Canada and therefore any shipped in the US were non-compliant. Products in this recall will have a “C” at the end of the model number.

CONSEQUENCE:
A missing registration card may result in an unregistered child seat, which can delay recall notification and increase the risk of injury.
Customers purchasing car seats within the recall populations would not have received recall registration cards compliant to FMVSS requirements. This
could render it less likely that they would register their products making it less likely that they would receive direct notice in the event of a recall.
REMEDY:
Evenflo will mail owners recall registration card, free of charge to each purchaser at the shipping address contained within its records. The remedy registration cards are drafted to be compliant with US requirements under FMVSS 213. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 1, 2025.
