Evenfo Company, Inc. (Evenfo) is recalling certain Revolve180 Litemax NXT child seats manufactured through March 31, 2025. Due to a miscalibrated level indicator, following the installation instructions can result in a child sitting more upright than intended. Recall Information
Evenfo Company, Inc. (Evenfo) is recalling certain Revolve180 Litemax NXT child seats manufactured through March 31, 2025. Due to a miscalibrated level indicator, following the installation instructions can result in a child sitting more upright than intended. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, “Child Restraint Systems.”
Evenflo is voluntarily recalling select Revolve180™ LiteMax™ NXT infant car seats manufactured before April 1, 2025, and sold in the United States. Testing found that certain Revolve180™ LiteMax™ NXT infant car seat products from the model’s initial production, manufactured before April 1, 2025, did not meet certain federal performance requirements due to a calibration issue with the level indicator. A caregiver might observe that a child is more upright than anticipated. Otherwise, the condition is not apparent. The recall applies only to select Revolve 180™ LiteMax™ NXT infant car seats, including those purchased separately or as part of select Shyft™ Intuiti™, Shyft™ Intuiti+™, and Omni™ travel systems, that were manufactured before April 1, 2025.

Determine if your car seat is included in this recall: The car seat is only included in this recall if BOTH the model number and car seat manufacture date is included in this table.
How to Locate Your Model Number: Check the model number on the car seat label located in the center of the car seat base on the LockStrong™ belt-tensioning panel.
CONSEQUENCE: A child seat that is not reclined as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.
What You Should Do if Your Product is Included
Evenflo is providing affected consumers with a free repair kit. Until the repair kit is available, you may continue using your affected infant car seat in one of the following ways:
- Installed without the rotating base, following our installation instructions. Watch our step-by-step installation video here.
- Installed with a compatible LiteMax™ NXT non-rotating base.
- Installed with its current rotating base and a load leg.
- Installed with its current rotating base and a slightly adjusted recline. Contact our ParentLink® team for specific guidance.
- Used outside the vehicle as a carrier or with a compatible stroller.
REMEDY:
The remedy for this recall is currently under development. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed beginning September 1, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921The remedy for this recall is currently under development. Getting Your Free Repair Kit: Evenflo will provide affected consumers with a free repair kit as soon as possible. In the meantime, please register your car seat at https://registration.evenflo.com/evenflo/us/carseats, so you can be notified when the repair kit becomes available. Registered owners will receive updates as soon as additional information is available.
